You summarized this magical place very well in cinq minutes. I just love the town, and all thexFrench culture that surrounds it. You would be hard-pressed to find better food in North America – from croissants to bagels with lox to smoked meat sandwiches at Schwarz' deli on St Laurent, to fancy rack of lamb in Vieux Montreal. The jet boats on the Rapides are amazing, too. So much to explore. I was there for Expo '67 and the Summer Olympics in 1976, and several times since. It is a slice of Europe sans the flight. Embrace the French culture and the friendly people!
