St. Louis is a great place to live, despite all the bad press it gets. Not mentioned here is that the cost of living is comparatively very low, it has four distinct seasons, and is centrally located in the country.

What they don't say is we are the murder capital of the country. If you come for a visit be very careful what you do and where you stay, park, and wander. You can and will be a victim of crime in some form, a hold up, a car jacking, having your car broken into while you do the tourist thing. Be especially cautious after dark on any of the streets, if you are thinking about walking around, don't. We do not want to hear about you on the news.

I didn't see anything about the St. Louis Cardinals, the baseball or sports history that St. Louis possesses, nor did I see anything about the city museum, the Bowling HoF, or Six Flags. There's a ton more to see and do in St. Louis than this video shows.

As a Black man born and raised in STL I never knew just how apparently rare it is to see Black people in STL. From this, you'd be forgiven if you assumed that literally everyone in STL is White.
