That's not entirely true about the all-inclusive segment, about you being just secluded to your resort. I have gone there several times and only have done all inclusive and have going on many excursions and I've gone to many of the local places to shop and it is so much fun. And even though we have all-inclusive where food and drinks are included we have ventured out to other places in the city to eat and drink. I think I'll inclusive is the only way to really get more bang for your buck. But that's just my opinion. Thank you for this video is very informative and we will be using these tips come next April.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH NEXUS buying their tours, we had a very bad experience in mexico. to get to xcaret and the other parks, which are a short time from the hotel, it takes almost 3 hours for a break in the road that they have been fixing for months and they do do not tell you that you are going to lose 3 hours of your tour time, they did not want us to return the money for a tour, they are thieves.we bought a tour with Nexus for a park, they had to pick us up at an hour and they never came for us, we spent more than two hours calling the hotel and Nexus and they hung up the phone on us . we had to take a taxi, with our 5 year old boy, knowing that in mexico it is dangerous for tourists and nexus workers when we got to the hotel and complained to them they literally laughed in our faces. They are very disrespectful with customers, they just want you to buy their tours but they don’t care about customers after you have paid

"A 2015 report from Mexico’s Tax Administration Service found that 43% of all the alcohol consumed in the nation is illegal, produced under unregulated circumstances resulting in potentially dangerous concoctions.
The national health authority in Mexico has seized more than 1.4 million gallons of adulterated alcohol since 2010 — not just from small local establishments, but from hotels and other entertainment areas, according to a 2017 report by the country's Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks."

isn't this in the rainy season? And are you able to go to the beaches in July/August or is it to cloudy/rainy the whole day? Or are day some hours where you can swim and it isn't raining during July/August?

Thank you. I'm tired of people trying to scare me about Mexico when Europe had worse problems in the 90s but no one cares. I love Mexico and I want to go. Was a travel buddy not alone. The Caribbean coast is the most beautiful. Thank you. The whale sharks are beautiful. I love cenotes. I'd like Mayan ruins. I love white sand beaches. Great video.
